Emergency First Responder (EFR)
The Emergency First Response® course prepares you to handle real-life medical emergencies with confidence. This 1-day course teaches CPR and first aid skills that can be used anytime, anywhere—at home, at work, or out on the water. You’ll learn how to provide care in the crucial moments between an incident and when emergency medical services arrive.
What You’ll Learn
✔ Respond to a variety of illnesses and injuries
✔ Help someone who is choking
✔ Handle a possible spinal injury
✔ Apply bandages and splints
✔ Perform CPR and use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
✔ Provide care that can reduce pain and promote recovery
This course also fulfils the first aid and CPR requirement for the PADI Rescue Diver course.
