Fish Identification
What was that fish? is a common question heard after a dive. Diving becomes much more enjoyable when you recognise the fish you are seeing. The Fish Identification Specialty course helps you identify the main fish families and their characteristics. Since there are more that 30,000 species of fish in the world, at the end of this course, you will not know every single fish you encounter as you travel to dive sites around the world. However, you should be able to identify which fish family it belongs to, and so be able to intelligently ask your local scuba guide about what you saw.

Pre-Course Preparation - complete the e-learning
Meet at the Dive Centre and be introduced to you instructor.
Issuing of equipment for those who need it
Boat departs for the Daymaniyat Islands
First dive followed by the surface interval break where your instructor will help you to identify the marine life you saw
Second dive followed by further identification of marine life with your instructor.
The dives will be at different spots and the instructor will be showing you as much different marine life as possible during the 2 dives
Arrive back in the marina for final debrief
