Company Overview
Established in 2012, SeaOman operates from Al Mouj Marina and Barcelo Mussanah Resort. We offer a wide range of services including daily diving, snorkelling, private boat charters and exciting water sports. Our certified courses include diving, sailing and powerboating. We also provide tailor-made team building and comprehensive marine education packages.
As a leader in eco-friendly tourism, we offer unforgettable experiences whether you're diving vibrant coral reefs, sailing on crystal-clear waters, or exploring Oman's stunning marine biodiversity.

At SeaOman, we are committed to protecting Oman's marine environment for future generations. Our trained crew ensure boats are operated responsibly and guest briefings include best practices including a strict no-touch policy for marine life and the requirement to wear reef-friendly sunscreen for all activities, which we provide.
We are working hard to remove all single-use plastic from our activities and ensure that all our practices—from cleaning of equipment to the products sold in our shop—align with the best eco-friendly practices. We also lead regular beach cleans and ghost net removals, inviting guests to take part.
Our educational programs engage all ages in marine surveys, while our Precious Plastic recycling lab raises awareness of plastic pollution and its impact on the ocean.
The Daymaniyat Islands
The nine neighbouring islands feature an array of unspoiled reefs and are home to endangered turtles, nesting seabirds, and vibrant fish and coral reefs. This beautiful Marine Protected Area (MPA), has some simple rules to follow when visiting, to ensure it is there for future generations. Truly a paradise for underwater explorers.
Daymaniyat Island Rules:
- Do not touch or disturb marine life, including turtles, coral, or fish
- Never collect or move coral, shells, eggs, or any wildlife
- Take all litter home – no waste should be left behind
- No pets, plants, or seeds are allowed on the islands
- No BBQs or fires on the Islands without prior permission
- All entrants to the islands must hold a valid permit
- Use only reef-friendly sunblock when swimming or snorkelling
- Maintain good buoyancy control and avoid stirring up sediment
Island beaches are closed from 1 May to 31 October for turtle and bird nesting. Snorkelling and diving are allowed, but walking on the islands is not permitted during this time.
