Enriched Air (nitrox) - Classroom Only
Enriched air, also known as Nitrox or EANx, contains less nitrogen than regular air. Breathing less nitrogen means you can enjoy longer dives and shorter surface intervals, this makes the enriched air course a very popular speciality! During this shore-based course you will learn about diving with nitrox, how to use an oxygen air analyser and how to set your dive computer for enriched air. This is a 1/2 day land-based course, consisting of 2-4 hours of eLearning prior to the course, then time with your instructor to go through practical exercises.
There is no requirement to do a dive with Nitrox as part of the course, but if you have the time sign up to the related course below that includes a dive allowing you to put the new skills into action.
