Emergency First Response (EFR) Requirement
To complete the Rescue Diver course, you must hold a valid Emergency First Response (EFR) certificate. If you don’t already have one, you can complete this with us alongside your Rescue Diver training. Simply book both the Rescue Diver and EFR courses together and use the discount code RDCEFR to receive the EFR course for just OMR 30.

Trip Itinerary & Schedule
Day 1: Rescue Skills Development (Confined Water)
Meet your instructor at the dive center for an orientation session.
Practice essential rescue techniques, including self-rescue, recognizing stress in divers, and emergency response procedures, in a controlled environment.
Day 2: Open Water Scenarios
Conduct real-world rescue scenarios at the dive site.
Develop skills in searching for missing divers, surfacing an unresponsive diver, and performing in-water resuscitation techniques.
Review scenarios and debrief with your instructor.
Day 3: Further Open Water Scenarios
Additional rescue scenarios at the dive sites to further develop skills
Review scenarios and debrief with your instructor.
Each day starts at 8am and will finish around 2pm. Finish time may vary depending on the size and progress of the group. Maximum group size is 4 people per instructor
