Seamanship Skills
If you are considering becoming an instructor, or going for a day sail this course will teach you essential skills. It is also a great course for building general confidence. Once again, those 5 essentials will be put to the test as you must start thinking how to cope with more difficult situations. What if your centreboard or rudder break? What is you are out sailing, and the wind picks up, how to put your reef in afloat? Most of these skills you may never use in earnest, but knowing how gives you confidence and improves your understanding of the boat and therefore your general sailing.
